Below are some sample itineraries to our must-see attractions:
If you have one day:
- Stones River National Battlefield (1 hour)
- Cannonsburgh Village (1 hour)
- Lunch and shopping on the beautiful Murfreesboro Downtown Square and historic district
- Oaklands Historic House Museum (allow at least 1 hour)
- Tour the campus of Middle Tennessee State University
- Finish up with dinner at one of our many great restaurants
If you have two days:
- Do everything listed for day one and
- Sam Davis Home and Museum, Smyrna (1 hour tour)
- Nissan plant (1 hour—Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., advanced reservations required - 615-459-1444)
- Discovery Center at Murfree Spring (2 hours)
- Bradley Academy Heritage Museum (1 hour)
- Dinner and shopping at Stones River Mall
If you have three days:
- Do everything listed for days one and two and
- Fortress Rosecrans (30 minutes)
- Stroll the Stones River Greenway Trail
- Shop at the antique malls in Murfreesboro
- Visit Bell Buckle, Tennessee
If you have four days:
- Do everything listed for days one, two and three:
- Rutherford County Courthouse (20 minutes)
- Head down scenic Hwy. 231 to Lynchburg, Tennessee (one hour drive)
- Tour the world-famous Jack Daniel Distillery (70-minute tour)
- Lunch and shopping in Lynchburg
