Murfreesboro Greenway System

The Murfreesboro Greenway System is a 4 ½ mile paved, handicap-accessible trail system which borders the Stones River and Lytle Creek.

The trail allows:

  • Walking
  • Bicycling
  • In-line skating
  • Jogging

There are two canoe access points and four fishing piers. The General Bragg trailhead has a pavilion that is available for rent and includes restrooms, playground, pay phone and a water fountain.

Hours:
Daylight use only, gates close one hour before dusk.

No admission charged

Manson Pike: off Thompson Lane

General Bragg: off Old Nashville Highway

Broad Street: at the intersection of Thompson Lane and NW Broad Street at 84 Lumber-limited parking

Redoubt Brannon: Manson Pike

Thompson Lane: East off NW Broad Street

Overall Street: behind the tennis courts in Old Fort Park off Old Fort Parkway
