The Destination Rutherford 2015 program will produce the following minimum economic improvements for the Rutherford County economy over the next five years:

- Create 5,000 new primary jobs (over 50 percent will pay at or above the average Rutherford County wage)

- Aid in the location of 50 new companies within the area

- Assist 200 existing businesses in expansion, training and support

- Encourage an increase in capital investment by $600 million

- Increase tourism revenue by attracting 181 new quality events and activities to Rutherford County venues

- Create and implement an investor relations strategy that enhances the governance structure by actively keeping investors informed and engaged in the economic development process
