Government Affairs Council
The Government Affairs Council meets monthly to discuss issues affecting the business community in Rutherford County. It has the ability to make independent recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding certain laws or issues provided they are within the parameters set forth in the Government Affairs Council's Legislative Framework constructed accordance with the mission of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
When applicable, the Government Affairs Council will hold forums, legislative events, provide educational workshops for Chamber members, and serve as the voice and conduit between the elected officials of Rutherford County and those Chamber members they are elected to represent.
