Event Description: Chamber U’s first quarter of classes addresses Human Resource Issues and is sponsored by Jennings A. Jones College of Business at MTSU.  The third HR class will discuss the current legal environment and recent changes that effect business operations.  Peter Demos with Demos’ Restaurants; James Jobe with Jobe, Hastings & Associates C.P.A.; and Jimmy McElhaney with Evergreen Consulting will participate in a panel discussion.  Demos will discuss laws concerning workers compensation, unemployment and discrimination.  Jobe will discuss issues concerning changes in tax code law.  McElhaney will discuss legal changes in health care and employee benefits.
Directions:
I-24 to Medical Center Pkwy (Exit 76), turn left onto Medical Center Pkwy, travel .5 miles to the Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center on left.
