Rogue to be Built in Smyrna by 2013 |

Nissan North America, Inc. will begin manufacturing its Rogue sport utility vehicle in Smyrna, TN starting in 2013, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The SUV is currently being produced in Japan.
The next few years are looking bright for the local Nissan plant as the automaker's all-electric car, the Leaf, will be assembled here starting in 2012. Nissan broke ground in Smyrna last year on its $1 billion lithium-ion battery plant, which will supply batteries for the Leaf.
