Marissa Sparschu is the Rutherford Works Director of Education and Workforce Development. Marissa brings more than a decade of experience in education and public health to Rutherford Works.

​Marissa spent four years as a health educator in Williamson County, collaborating closely with schools, community organizations, and public agencies. She then spent a decade teaching at Rockvale Middle School, working alongside educators who taught her and inspired her growth. She is a Rutherford County native and graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in health education.
